Hanoi is now home to the young, handsome, creative, funny and talented graffiti artist Dr Gosh. After visiting Vietnam for the first time in 2009/2010, he has decided to come back and stay with us in Tay Ho for new colourful adventures, so the Almaz Collective proudly welcomes this new family member and wishes him a very disco time in Vietnam!

You can learn more about Dr Gosh on his website http://www.drgosh.com

Tha Trickaz @ Almaz

Posted: January 26, 2011 in Guest, Hip Hop

The Almaz Collective gladly hosted Tha Trickaz in Hanoi during their Vietnam Tour 2011 before they rocked the place at our beloved neighbours’ venue Hanoi Rock City. It was a great week of laughter and electronic beats and we look forward to seeing you again soon!

Future Shorts continues its adventure of screening every month in Hanoi. This time was in Hanoi Rock City, with very appreciated campfires in the garden for a nice outdoor winter projection… Stay tuned for the next monthly event !

Our friend Gabby Miller came along with Duc Hoang, Huy An and Toan Vu to use the space for a week of work, workshop and performance. They had a great use of any space, from the stairs to the rooftop, from installation to performance.

Almaz Collective was pleased to welcome the artist 3TTMan in Hanoi and collaborated with him for an urban art intervention inspired by the famous B-Tong stencils quoting “vẽ tường màu miễn phí” (I paint walls for free) visible on Almaz building…. You can see more of his work, like the part of the Mosaic he made for the Hanoi Millenium, or his work in the ceramic village of Phu Lan here.
